Plexi-glass lens over the clock. The control buttons on the clock are cosmetic only, they do not control the clock. To set time, or replace battery, the clock & surrounding gray ring pull away from the main body, faux dynamite sticks. This only tells the time, it does not destroy anything, it is not even an alarm clock, so it will not even destroy your sleep. It measures 11 1/2” to top of sticks, about 13 1/2” to top of yellow wires (filament). Measures 4 3/4’ across. Clock is 5” across, including bezel/ring. The actual clock face is 4” across. The minute hand reads “BOOM”
