This is a limited edition CASE XX SS 8 DOT - 2 fixed blade knife set commemorating the 125th year of DRAKE'S OIL WELL.
It is number 0670 in a limited edition. Each knife has matching serial numbers.
This commemrative knife set was produced to honor the first commercially productive oil well drilled by Drake in 1859 in Titusville, PA.
The set contains 2 genuine stag-handled, fixed blade hunters, M5 FINN SSP and 5 FINN SSP - both are fingergripped.
The blades are CASE SS with a mirror polish finish. The smaller knife M5Fis about 7". On the blade it reads,"1859-1984 TITUSVILLE,PA." The larger knife 5 Finnis about 8 1/2" . The blade reads, "125 YEARS of OIL IN AMERICA" and has oil derrick.
Each blade has photo-etched artwork. Included is a black leather embossed knife sheath that holds both knives that reads, "CASE XX DRAKE'S WELL 125th YEAR". This set has never been displayed, and is in excellent condition.
Comes with wall plaque, which shows a little wear, Certificate Of Authenticity on the back.
New, factory sharp, never carried.
